Do you believe in Reincarnation?

I most definitly do. I have had a few glimpses or fleeting feelings of where or who I may have been. I believe this 3rd dimension we live in is a school of sorts where younger souls incarnate to learn about themselves. It makes sense to me that in our natural state or home in the higher vibrations we would look at earthlings and wonder at the pain and hate they live through here. Therefore we may decide to incarnate and experience it for ourselves. In my journey I have found a theory that resonates with me personally. This is that there is a thing called a soul contract, where we agree to all that we will experience here on earth, and the lessons we will learn from them. Only once we master all our predestined lessons can we go back home, wherever that may be. That is my personal quest in this life, to transmute all the darkness of my lives into light so I can leave this planet. I do love Terra, but I dont feel as if she is my home.
I would love to hear from others on this topic!

Hi Arien,
I truly wish others would join in because this is really an interesting topic to explore. But until they do, hope you don't mind me jumping in. Would you believe it,---up until I was about 24 I had no concept of reincarnation. Matter of fact, if someone had asked me if I believed in spirits I would have told them no. Then, slowly my mind began to concieve of the idea of spirits, but to me, all I could envision were ghosts and gouls (sp) and goblins... definately not something Iwanted to explore. Then a very strange thing happened to me... oh, I guess I was in my mid to late twenties. I met someone and all of a sudden I became an avid believer in reincarnation. There was something in this person's eyes---ya know. And then there was this spark... and I am talking about a real static electricity spark that would occur whenever we would pass by one another. And when we got together, I would think I was hallucinating because all of a sudden the sceneray about me would change and I might find myself in another era of time. It was really weird. And so---ever since then I became a believer in reincarnation.
I have heard many who call this planet a schoolhouse of sorts and that we are all here to learn. But I am not so sure. And if that is true, I don't think it necessarily true for everyone. I think some are here to learn while others are here just to have an experience.
As to getting it right, or going through a whole series of incarnations until we become perfected or liberated, as it were... well, I am not so sure about that one either. I say this because I truly believe that we are immortal soul/spirits. And if we are immortal then we already are made perfect. Perhaps not here, but the greater part of our soul/spirit that resides in heaven is. I am here talking about our white lighted spirit or our higher self... the portion of ourselves or oversoul that never incarnates but instead remains in heaven overseeing and watching over us. So basically, I kind of tossed out the notion that I have to be christ-like in this lifetime in order to make it to heaven. Much to big of a task for any finite body, in my opinion. We may be perfect on the other side of the veil, but I don't think either God or our higher self expects or demands that of us while we are here. Basically, I think that for every good that we do while here, we add onto the light of our primary oversoul; making it a brighter beacon of light than what it already is.

Here it is again 0300 in the morning here, but I will join in the thread just a bit while I think of it ~ I DO admit to need to reread the writings already posted!!! I just skimmed over.
My learnings are that Earth is a lesson-learning school, if you will, place, but some are also here on an R&R lifetime; perhaps you know of some, and I'm pretty sure I do know 2-3 personally.
Also with re: past lives, it has been given that the only reason to remember past lives if you care to at all or are interested in past life regression readings (some are NOT), is to know what skill you brought forth and what skill you can send back, e.g., one may have been an Aborigine psychic surgeon in one lifetime; in this lifetime a medical professional doing or assisting with surgery, so the remembrance is there, and the skill of surgery is probably quite natural in the present life; one may send back such as the importance of aseptic technique to avoid the contamination of that former time of psychic surgery, aborigines known to not to be the most sterile setting. That's just as example that comes to mind.
BUT, I wanted to make mention since there has been some talk of Soul and Spirit although no response to my post in this regard ~ it happens. One may have remembrance of say, bird. One may see a bird and seem to know a whole lot about birds and bird flight, etc., AND it is given that we are to remember that the spirit of the bird is the spirit of the bird, and what we get from the remembrance is that the essence of bird is ~ freedom. Likewise, and I always put this in my talks about the wolf. Wolf is trendy. People actually like to think can can copy the family process of wolf and even apply the ways of wolf to businesses and how to legislate behavior at the workplace, and AGAIN, the spirit of the wolf is the spirit of the wolf. It is not there for the pilfering of humans.
Maybe that adds something to the discussion, or not ~ ~

Reincarnation is a very complicated thing. I do not necessarily know if it is true or not. It seems it is possible but i just am not sure. By conductive research, every life cycle on this planet and all the natural orders have a cyclical event pattern. For example, Precipitation cycle, life cycle, plant cycle, etc. The one thing that is not cyclical, at least in our lifetime is time. I mean to a sense it is, every year repeats itself do a degree. But could it be this cyclical view of life is just that of the 3rd dimension? Our souls my reside here and be on this planet for some time but after we leave the planet and 3rd dimension than wouldn't the rules change?
I don't know much of reincarnation so I am just adding some thought. I've never had past life regressions or anything, be kinda cool if I did though. The most I've had is some massive deja vu recently. But who knows. Now I am not shooting down reincarnation or anything like that I am just unsure. I believe it may be possible if the earth plane really is a school of teaching.

I think that reincarnation is real for a number of good reasons. The most ancient siritual doctrines of Buddhism and Hinduism and all of the major spiritual paths from the East and the West all speak of the afterlife. It seems quite hard for us to conceive of reincarnation but in the most authoritative yoga doctrine Lord Krishna confirms that just as we take off one article of clothing and put on another, we change lives in a similar fashion. It has been said that we all have been reincarnating for so long that we have already been everybody else's parents in some form of life, and everybody else has alrady been our parents as well. This is what the secret and ancient yoga doctrines confirm. And they form the basis of the absolte truth and spiritality. There is a actually a quite insteresting resource for learning more about all of this spiritual and supernatural stuff. Its called This Is PK mauscript available at http://thisispk.org. It has helped me make many powerful breakthroughs spiritually. The main reason I believe in reincarnatiin is because Krishna does verify this in the Gita. He is known as being the most divine and th "Truth Telling Lord" wo can only speak truth because of his transcenental nature. Most of the world's top spiritual authorities all agree that Sri Krishna is of a divine nature and not an ordinry human being. Think about it, some of the the most divine personalities ever, such as Sri Krishna, Lord Buddha, and Jesus Christ all speak of an afterlife.
Many bleassings,
