I am glad you hear you say that. I was beginning to get concerned about you. If you are looking for psychological reasons why a person would make such a video, try this one out for size: They get a big kick making fools out of those that believe it. It's a test to see just how gullible people are. Put simply---It's a game.

And my point to you is: IT DID NOT LOOK AUTHENTIC. Not to me it did not. Even so, I was willing to watch it a few times to figure out what you found so intriquing about it, or why *you* would believe such a thing.That's why I went to so much trouble digging out old CD-R's and uploading pictures for you to compare. And to tell you the truth, Sid, I am still confused as to how you might originally have thought that video to be real. I can only deduce that you are not an overly observant person, and little things might escape your sense of reasoning. Either way, I think there is a part of you that is all too trusting; yet at the same time, there is also a part of you that is very much the skeptic even at the point of being defensive. Both are not healthy and in this wise---You would be a push over for every scam artist out there. The Internet is a very cold unwelcoming place if you let it be. But if you keep your options open and approach what you read or hear with either skepticism or discernment and fully investigate a topic it can also be a very nice place.

There are a great many YouTube hoaxes on the Internet PN. I know for me, trying to follow this year's primary and general election was surely an eye-opener. It is very disturbing to see how the media got in the middle of this election cycle and played tricks on our minds by not covering events they way they used to. They don't bother to investigate the way they used to, but instead will pull information from blogs... And most blogs are nothing more then folks putting up their opinions. That's why I finally gave up on CNN... biased all the way---Except for Lou Dobbs; but even he has a slant.
Personally... and this might be of interest to Sid... Most of us... oh, let's say from age 35-65 were brought up on mainsteam media. We got our information from books, and magazines, and newspapers. Through the years we developed a certain amount of trust for the written word. If people stick with the same news source they may not even be aware that their thoughts are being shaped by the media outlet. I also think that we have developed a certain mindset to trusting what we see in black and white print... So much so, that when we read something off of the Internet if we don't make a mind shift, we can get caught up into all sorts of lies. The Internet is a fascinating place, but on many bulletin boards, forums or blogs, lots of folks, especially those new to the computerized age, can't make the leap into realizing that they are talking to a real live person. And so, many think of the Internet as a playground... a place to hide their real personality or a place to develope a new one. There is just something about creating a screen name that gives one ananimity of purpose. And with that, comes a degree of danger if we are not careful.
I didn't catch it... but Cable FoxNews was also running a story about the Yellowstone SuperVolcano. All I caught was that something came out to have the news resurface.

It's really stupid of me to talk more about this. You greenhorns think yourselves experts at judging UFO video when you wouldn't know a REAL UFO video to save your friggin lives.
Prove to me you know an authentic UFO video when you see one. Go to YouTube and share an authentic UFO video.
You won't be able to because you wouldn't know an authentic UFO video to save your lives.

Well, let’s assume for a moment that the practically absolutely perfect controlled demolition of WTC Building 7 was the way the aliens in the video were telling the world that an advanced civilization that hates humans orchestrated the WTC attacks. My, that would indeed be quite a development on the bombing disaster, eh?
Let’s face reality. In order for a practically perfect controlled demolition of WTC Building 7 there would have had to have been ((((MASSIVE))) preparations. People with special trucks would have been working on Building 7 for possibly weeks before it was brought down in an obviously controlled demolition. Humans could not have hidden the fact that they were wiring up Building 7 for a controlled demolition. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for ‘humans’ to set up such a controlled demolition without many, many, MANY people knowing about it beforehand. How could you possibly hide such an endeavor from all the people who worked at Building 7.
One of the WTC goes down like a controlled demolition. Okay, I might be able to accept that. Then the second building goes down in the EXACT SAME MANNER. Wait, now that is getting suspicious. Then Building 7 goes down in an even more perfect OBVIOUSLY controlled demolition. Now, this is where logic and reason have to draw the line. Humans could not possibly have created this perfect of a controlled demolition without many, many ((((MANY)))) people knowing about it beforehand. It would have taken just too much preparation to hide.
So, I hope the Sci-Fi channel can prove they produced this video because if it’s real…well…chances are Americans have enemies far more powerful than radical Islamic Muslims.

You only prove my point that you who blatantly say the video is a hoax also feel ALL UFO videos are hoaxes. Prove me wrong. Go to YouTube and share a link of a UFO video you are certain is genuine. I predict you won't be able to do so for you people wouldn't know a real UFO video to save your 'science-fiction' lives.
To believe a UFO video is a fake with no proof whatsoever is just as blind ignorant as believing the UFO video is real with no proof whatsoever. Hey, this is the truth and you know it!

So, I realistically took a proverbial step back from the whole matter of this WTC UFO video and asked myself how I would feel if the Sci-fi channel officially produced a video showing how they faked the WTC UFO video and why they faked it.
In all honesty, I would be relieved and I imagine others would be relieved too!

In all honesty, I would be amazed. If the video is real the implications here are EXTREMELY ominous. It would mean that the new version of the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still may be more than just the remake of a movie. It may just be UFO alien inspired as a warning of what is about to come upon the human race probably by the year 2012, in the fulfillment of the Mayan calendar prophecy.
Then again everything in this post may be incorrect. I’m fully ready for that possibility

It is said the Buddha described his teachings as being like ‘a finger pointing to the moon’. In other words he knew that discoveries, like his, most probably go on for infinity in all directions equally. The blind religious like to think their heroes revealed it all and that there is nothing more left to be discovered about the true nature of the universe.
Unless a person personally experiences “enlightenment” it is just a myth. Even if a person is verified by a Buddhist master to be “enlightened” it will still be just be a myth to anyone else who is not officially “enlightened”.
From my personal experiences I now believe that only the TRULY “enlightened” know empirically that the universe is Sentient, Aware & Alive. The validation of this can only be proven through direct experience. Yes, many shamanistic cultures have used power plants to increase their sensitivity to the Sentience of nature, but the wise realize that they are indeed medicinal plants and should only be used for a very good purpose. To take power plants with no deliberately good intent in mind is to invite the Sentient universe to tear your minds apart. The Sentient Spirit of Nature is currently not very happy with the creature called “human”. Those of you cynical skeptics who use power plants to perceive the Sentience of the Universe may not be happy with what you may find; if you have any mind left afterwards, that is.

I have every right to ‘read into’ the new version of the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still and ‘see’ whatever inspires me.
I am truly inspired as I think of the ‘orb’ spaceships that looked like the sun behind the clouds. The very concept of advanced technology powered by fully clean and natural methods is very inspiring to me. I am inspired to think of a race of beings whose existence is fully endorsed and powered by the very Sentient Universe itself. All natural, all clean and invincibly wholesome.
If such beings exist they can most probably travel along waves of thought as well as in spaceships. Traveling through dreaming is most probably a science to such beings. I envision that such beings might very well be inspired by any human who is doing his or her best to better their lives and live more in harmony with Nature.
I imagine that truly advanced beings would be inspired by humans who have tremendous respect for the power of thought and are doing their best to deliberately focus and concentrate their thoughts in order to manifest increasingly wonderful lives for themselves. Yes, I envision that truly advanced beings have tremendous respect for the power of properly focused thought.

This is amazing. I specifically come to the Sci-fi channel forum to "get the whole story" and the Sci-fi channel refuses to give me the whole story about that WTC UFO video. Fortunately I am wise enough to read 'between the lines' and realize that THERE IS NO WHOLE STORY regarding that WTC UFO video.
The Sci-fi channel obviously did not create the video
Those who are certain it is a hoax believe so WITH NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER
It just may be real...or prophetically created. Either way, it seems you people should be very nervous about the implications of that video. Very nervous indeed!

So, it was obviously aired before the WTC disaster. Just a "coincidence" that the UFO was first spotted right in the area the WTC would eventually be bombed, eh? Just a "coincidence" that someone would make a hoax UFO video that would have a UFO appear right in that area, right?

Also, I found the people who post there to be some of the absolutely dumbest people I have ever encountered in ANY message board forum. Real idiots! I deleted my account there.
They proved, once again, that the human race is unfit to survive the coming ecological disasters.
I truly believe the new version of The Day the Earth Stood Still was inspired by advanced UFO aliens in preparation for what is soon to come. It was made mostly to show the world military what they can expect if they treat a celestial foreign dignitary like a criminal.

If you have had an encounter with extraterrestials or with UFO sitings, I think we would much rather hear about that, then for you to post messages from other forums that really serve no purpose here because you are only arguing with yourself.
Also, if you can, could you please go to the HELP page (see upper right side of this page) and place your YouTube links in the php code format. Anything beyond 86 characters makes the page go way off to the right and then the page becomes unviewable to those of us who still have smaller monitors.

Maybe you have sensed that I am determined NEVER to be chosen by the Universe to be a spiritual leader. I present what I have learned in a way that repels rather than attracts people. CHICKEN SOUP
Ingredients:
Whole Chicken
Chicken livers, washed and drained (Optional)
Chicken gizards, washed and drained (Optional)
Washed and sliced onions
Washed and peel medium size potatoes (leave whole)
Washed and cut carrots
Washed and cut celery stalks along with tips of greens
Vegtable Oil
Salt
Pepper
Chicken bullion cubes
In a large 10 quart pot, saute' onions until lightly brown in oil
Add Chicken and chicken parts
Add water till 2/3 full
Add onions, potatoes, carrots, celergy.
Cover with water until near the top of pot.
Add salt, pepper and 3 bullion cubes
Cover with lid (leave a venting space)
Simmer for 2 1/2 hours or until chicken is completely cooked.
Stir occassionaly
At the end of cooking, let cool slightly and separate the liguid from the solid food parts, and place the broth in a separate pot. Bring to boil again, and add your favorite pasta, noodles or rice. I prefer Orzo or Bowties.
Tip: omit the carrots until the last half hour of cooking to keep them from getting to YUKKI.
