(Compiled by Cosmeta)
Many who are pursuing a New Age path to enlightenment come from a Christian background; and believe it or not, many have never left their chosen faith in order to incorporate knowledge of the other world religions. What seems to set us apart, is that we do not just read scripture as a matter of faith but are interested in pursuing knowledge about the 'Life of Jesus' and the era to which he lived. We are interested in what scholars call the 'Hisorical Jesus'. In essence what we are searching for is the truth about the life and times of the man Christianity calls the Christ. Our Search for the Truth does not take us away from Christianity, but instead, should draw us deeper into an exploration of it. We come across and read books that have been taken out of the bible and have not become part of canon. This may include Pseudepigrapha as well as Apocrapha. Still, as students of the mysteries we cannot do that without first taking a long hard look at what scholars and theologians have written on the subject. This page is a small sample of that. ~ Enjoy.
