The sixth chakra is called in the sanskrit 6th "Ajna" meaning to control. The chakra itself is not located anywhere inside of the human body; yet it does correspond to specific cerebral centers of activity, spinal nerve centers, nerve plexus, endrocrine glands, exocrine glands and certain bodily organs.

Cerebral Centers of Activity	The Mid-Brain Trinity Comprised of the Hypothalamus, Pituatary. and Pineal Glands working together as a unit. The Occipital Lobe, located in the back of the head, the area responsible for seeing. Our sense of smell is achieved through the front of the lateral fissure. In Inner or Angel Eye is located here! The Inner-Voice or Inner Comforter is also located here!
Spinal-Nerve Centers	Occipital Lobe Mid-Brain Region Pons Medula Oblongata Spinal Cord.
Nerve Plexus	Mid-Brain Region Hypothalamus Also the Medula Oblongata, the bundle of nerves located in the back of the head and neck area. According to Eastern tradition, the "nadis" enanates here and is associated with the "ida" (left side) and the "pingala" (right side) of the "susumma" originating in the first chakra and better known as the coiled serpent, or Kundalini power.
