BEHOLD A KING! |
(The morning of the Sabbath, the tenth day of Nissan) |
Section I--Behold a Colt |
02 And hearing of the Serenian's challenge, many spread their garments in the way which leadeth directly to the Temple of Jerusalem; and others believing in the baptismal rite of John cut down boughs from the trees, and strewed them into the way. For there were many Essenes living in Judea who knew him not as Iseus, but by the spiritual name bestowed upon him by John the Baptist. 03 And rejoicing greatly at he who would dare to take up the challenge, they that went before and they that followed, shouted out with great joy saying: Blessed is he who is come with the sign of our forefather king David;* Blessed be the kingdom of our lord Solomon that returneth, blessed be Jedidiah, the Lord's beloved. For all the people not only knew that he was the son of David, they now knew which son, for only Solomon rode upon David's mule.* And like the colt which he now rode, only Solomon had the star of David branded in his name. 04 And taking the eight aside, for he knew how to read the sign of the times, he began to tell them the things that should befall him, saying: Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the son of David, the chosen king of Judea shall be revealed to the chief priests, and to the chief Pharisees, and to the chief Herodians. And they shall reproach me, and they shall mock me, and spit on me. But within three days from hence, I like John shall rise up victorious. |
Section II--A Glorified Request |
05 And when there was gathered together unto him a great assembly; calling him by his false Galilean name, James and John the sons of Zebedee, came to him eating and drinking, and roaring aloud, saying: Iseus!, Iseus! we desire that whatsoever we shall ask, thou wouldest do it for us. For we are as courageous as a pair of ferocious lions, and Lebbaeus is our name. 06 And when he had seen the twins eating and drinking, he found them at fault, saying: You hypocrites! Well did Isaias prophesy of you. 'For my disciples honoureth me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And in vein do you follow my commands; worshiping the doctrines and precepts of men'.* For leaving my request, you detain and dishonour me by lusting after your own desires. And showing contempt for their lasciviousness, he reprimanded them, saying: Why do you walk unsoberly, and eat bread with sticky hands? 07 And even though he be irritated and ravaged by their tipsiness, he saith to the Troublers of Israel (thunder and lightning): What would you that I should do for you? Oh! ye men of sakar. 'For these men of drunkenness did err from the way of truth, and the light of justice hath shined unto them, because the Son of Wisdom hath risen upon us'.* 08 But seeking a heavenly reward from him, James the Blasphemer said to him: Iseus, if this be the great and terrible day of the Lord's appearance, and if we shall all die together with thee: Grant to my brother John and I, that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in the glory of your heavenly kingdom? For we also have knowledge of God, and knowest that thou art not only the Lord's beloved, but the Sun of Righteousness.* 09 And breaking their oath of silence, agreeing, John the Blasphemer also said to him: For like Daniel's three wise men, we have seen the refiner's fire with our own eyes, and there is no hurt in us.* For no man doth ascend into the fiery bright light and then returneth, unless he be the 'Son of God'.* 10 And seeking a crown of roses,* this he said, because he and his brother John had mistakenly combined the books of Malachi and Daniel; and had rejected David ben Adam as the author of Solomon's Book of Wisdom, which warns us about him who would boast that he hath knowledge of God,* and him who would make the false claim to be the 'true son of God'.* 11 And having fully accepted as fact that he was the true incarnation of Solomon, David's second born son by Bathsheba; outraged by their foolish boast, he vehemently saith to these lion-hearted men of arrogance: Blasphemy of Blasphemies: Get behind me! ye Sons of Trouble. You know not what you say. For you would put me to the test,* and have me curse both Father and Mother, on account of your belief in fiery-serpents. |
Section III--The Bequest of the Holy Grail |
12 And igniting his heart with a twin flame, declaring the mystery of God,* he saith to the twins: 'Hear my son your Father's instruction, and reject not you Mother's teachings:* No one shares the glory of God's Throne,* but the Queen of Heaven only! not the sons of men, nor the 'true son of God',* nor the angels in heaven, but the Mother only. For did not king Solomon himself say in the Book of Wisdom: 'Give me Wisdom that sitteth by the Throne.* Understand ye not, that She is the Mother of All!* that certain pure emanation,* which we call the Most High, and the unspotted mirror of His majesty, and the exact image of His likeness'.* 13 And revealing the glory of the mustard seed,* to the Sons of Trouble, he saith to the son of Lightning: 'For who else can we compare to Him that they should be alike:* For no defiled thing cometh into Her.* Therefore, if you wish to be made immortal,* seek out Her glory, For Her dove-like Spirit is an infinite treasure to men! which those that use, become 'near to God''.* 14 And turning his attention to James once more, he saith to the son of Thunder: And as for sitting, one to my right, and the other to my left, when we shall all be raised up: Can you drink from the same cup as John's, or from the second cup that I now drink from? or be baptized with the same baptisms wherewith I have been baptized? And thinking inside of himself that he was talking about the twin who is called John the wine bibber, he foolishly said to him: I can. 15 And answering for the Holy One [Holy Dove], David saith to James the wine bibber: You shall indeed drink of the cup that I once drank of, and with the second baptism wherewith I am baptized, in a future lifetime you shall also be confirmed by the same BAPTISTA', [Mother Dove]. 16 But to sit on the right hand, or on the left hand side of the Elo-hiym [who are the Father-Mother God], is not mine to grant to you, but theirs. But in the beginning of the Creation, the throne of grace is reserved for Her [Hiym], for whom our Father [Eliy] has first prepared it:* For is it not written of the Mother [Em of Im] in the book of Proverbs: 'I was set up from eternity,* conceived a virgin birth,* and from the Beginning I was with Eliy forming all things round about.* For is She not the Lord's Delight', [Beyth Eden or Eve]. 17 And as for the children of God, who shall sit, some to the right, and some to the left, they are the angels who art in heaven, and those whom Solomon hath called here on earth, the friends of God:* 'They shall receive a kingdom of glory and a crown of beauty: For with his right hand She will cover them, and with Her holy left arm She will care for them.* And being but one with the Father, it is She who can do all things.* For your reward is with the Lord, but the care of the children of God with the MOST HIGH'.* 18 For is it not written in the book of Isaias: 'Heaven is Their Throne and earth is Their footstool'.* For it is they two who are One, who sit upon the globe of the earth'.* Therefore, if the Son [Adam] is not greater than Abba our Father, neither is he greater than the Amen the Mother of Righteousness. 'For behold, to the Abba,Abbi [Father-Mother God] belong the heaven and the heaven of heavens'.* For they are the Sole-Mates and founders of the universe. 19 And reminding them of the parable of reproach, he saith to them: Amen, I say unto you, there is neither a right nor a left hand side of the Father-Mother God, for all is circular, like a womb. 'For there is but one entrance into life', said Solomon, 'and the like going out;* for no man, not even Adam has any other beginning but for the grace of Wisdom'.* 20 For they both heard him, and were troubled, because they were filled with wine, women and song, [that is to say, in the English, they were filled with alcoholic myrrh, perfumed frank-incense and with insidious laughter]. For these two unwise men thought inside of themselves: 'Let us eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we shall die.* But a double affliction came upon them, and a groaning for the remembrance of things past.* For these fools esteemed their life madness, and their end without salvation'.* 21 'Yet he commanded the skies above, and opened the windows of heaven,* because they had no faith in Wisdom, and did not trust in Her saving power.* For they were not numbered among the children of God, and their lot is not among the saints.* But thou hast chosen the sun of understanding to be a king of thy people, and a wise judge of thy sons'.* 22 And they were far more astonished within themselves: For they understood not concerning the parable of the mustard seed. 'For they had become a censure of his thoughts, and grievous unto him, even to behold: for their life is not like other men's, and their motives were very different from David's'.* 23 And believing that he was the Lord's messenger, (but falsely so), because he had returned with the colt, the son of Lightning said to him: For behold! was it not said by the prophet Malachi: 'I will send the Lord's messenger to prepare the way before you; and then Tishbe the Returner whom we all seek will suddenly appear by his Temple'.* For did you not say that I shall rise up victorious.* 24 'But these things he thought and was deceived for his own arrogance blinded him'.* For being drunk, he did not comprehend David's intended victory to regain the throne of Solomon on behalf of the Lamb of God, who did take away the sins of the world. |
Section IV--A Silent Conquest |
25 And the seven hearing it, began to be much displeased at James and John for 'glorifying themselves with the notion that David alone hath God for his Father';* and because they deemed themselves worthy to be one of God's co-elect. And because they thought of themselves greater than Levi who remained silent. But most of all, because John the wine bibber thought of himself greater than John the Baptist. 26 And this the wise thought and were filled with awe; for was it not David who said: I have 'come, not to call upon sinners, but the righteous. Because he said: the KING hath commanded him a business. For to this purpose did he come testifying after John; and for this purpose did he defend the children of light. 27 But knowing of Levi's restraint, calling them together again, he saith to Levi and to the seven: You know that the Romans who seem to lord it over the Gentiles, rule over them: and their Emperors have greater power over them still. 'But our Father will not accept any man's person, neither will He stand in awe of any man's forcefulness'.*
28 But it is not so among you: For whosoever will be the greater among the sons of Levi, shall be your servant. And whosoever will be first among the sons of Israel, shall be the minister of all. For I have not come to Jerusalem to be ministered unto, but to minister,* and to give my life for the honour of John the Baptist, and for the redemption of Wisdom. 29 'For like a gentle day that baptizeth, She was in the world and hath flown through me, and at first, I knew Her not, for there was no mark or shadow found afterwards of Her ways'.* And She came into Her 'Only Begotten Son John', and they believed him not. 30 And having been so often compared to John's light, 'She is to be found before it. And even though his be put out, Her Light cannot be put out.* For She is more beautiful than the common sun, and above all the order of the stars: being compared with the day of light, She is found before it for after this cometh night, but no evil can overcome Wisdom'.* 31 'For mine eyes have seen the risen King, the Son of Righteousness,* and his healing wings hath* touched my lips'.* Yet I came into Galilee not yet possessing the true word; but to give testimony to the word. For contrary to Genesis: In the Beginning was the Light,* and Her Light was with John. 32 'But as for the children of light, you shall be called the priests of the Lord: And to you it shall be said: Ye are the ministers of our God,* for as your name Levi remains, so shall your descendants remain'.* For you are the third pillar of Wisdom.* For the fear of the Father is the beginning of common sense, but knowledge of the Holy One is true wisdom'.* 33 And all this he also said to the eight, and to the three, in order to redeem his mother's love, for was it not Solomon who started the tradition of placing the mother on the right hand side of the throne.* For is it not written in the book of Isaias: 'I will set the star of David among them,* and then they shall see Her glory.* For by Her kings reign and the just ruler decrees what is right'.* 34 For this is the beginning of the New Phase [i.e., NewAge]: 'I will encompass My house with Levites that serve Me, because of the Lamb of God who was sacrificed, because of Solomon who built My house, and because of the Amen, the Mother of Righteousness who shall appear together with them in yet another passage'.* For She is the Saviour of us all.* And by means of Her David was given immortality.* But the Righteous One shall live forevermore'.* |
