Part Two--A New Day |
XXVI--Tender Figs |
PHASE TWENTY SIX |
TENDER FIGS |
Section I--A Prophesy |
02 And answering, in the most simplest of ways, he saith unto him in a prophesy: Seest thou the splendor of all these great buildings! There shall not be left a stone upon a stone, that shall not at a future time be throne down. |
Section II--A Discourse Apart |
03 And after darkness had arrived, that is to say, on Sunday night, the eleventh day of April, as they sat apart on the mount of Oliveri, overlooking the Temple, James and John being most curious, asked him saying: Tell us more about your prophesy concerning the fall of Jerusalem: What shall be the sign when these things shall begin? And when shall be the sign when these things be fulfilled? For we truly fear that this is the 'end of days' as foretold by the great prophet Daniel. 04 And when he had seen afar off a fig tree, when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the time for harvesting figs. And summarizing the four visions of Daniel, he saith unto them: Now of the fig tree learn ye a parable. When the branch thereof is tender and soft, as it is now, and the leaves are come forth, you know that the summer fig is very near. So you also, if you shall see these things which I shall now disclose to you come to pass, know ye that the time of the end is very near, even at your doors. 05 And answering for the Holy Spirit, he began to say unto them without a parable: Take heed lest any man deceive you, concerning our Perfect Mother [who is called in the Greek Gnosis, Christa Sophia] who art in heaven. For many shall come in the BAPTISTA'S name, saying: I am Messiah; and they shall deceive many. 06 And when you shall first hear of rumours of wars, fear ye not; for such reports are the beginnings of sorrows. For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom shall wage war against kingdom. But the 'end of days' as foretold by all the prophets is not yet. 07 But look out for yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to church councils, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten, and you shall stand before governors and kings for Amen's sake, for a testimony to them. And unto all nations John's Gospel must first be preached. 08 And brother shall betray his brother unto death, and the father his son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause their deaths. And when they shall lead you and deliver you up, be not thoughtful beforehand what you shall speak; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye. For it is not you that speak, but the Voice of Wisdom. And you shall be hated by all men for John's sake. But he that shall praise his name, shall be redeemed: For he is our Saviour. 09 And when you shall see these aforesaid abominations and desecrations standing where they ought not; he that readeth the signs of heaven, understanding astrology, let them understand! Then let them that are in the cities, flee into the wilderness.* And let him that is on the rooftop not go down into his house, nor enter therein to take any thing out of the house: And let him that shall be in the field, not turn back to take up his garment. 10 And woe to the woman that is pregnant with child, or that give milk in those days, for the labourers will be many, but births few. But pray ye, that these days of travail happen not in the dead of winter. For in those days shall be such travail, as were not yet seen from the beginning of creation which God created until now, and neither shall be. And were it not for the fact that the Lord of Hearts hath increased the number of days, no child of woe should be saved: But for the sake of the heavenly elect [angels], which, She alone hath chosen, their labours have been prolonged. 11 And even then, if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is the birth of the Son of God;* lo, Messiah is come: DO NOT BELIVE THEM! For there will rise up many false princes and many false prophets, and they shall show signs and wonders; to seduce, if that were possible, even the elect. 12 But on the 'day of travail' or the 'Day of the Lord', as foretold by the greater prophet Isaias: 'There shall be a total eclipse of Her heart, and the sun shall be darkened, and even the moon shall not give out her light. And the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers that are in heaven, shall all be moved'.* 13 And then shall they see the Ancient One coming in the clouds, with Her great power and majesty.* 'And then shall She send out Metatron [little Yahweh], and he shall gather together Her heavenly elect [angels], from the innermost part of the earth to the uppermost parts of heaven'.* Take heed therefore: Behold! I have told you all things concerning the changing of times and the end of the world. 14 Amen, I say unto you all: That the Kingdom of God shall not come to pass until all these things be done first. The earth and its inhabitants shall pass away, but my words, even thou they be unlike the words of the prophet Daniel, shall not pass away until all these things shall be fulfilled. But of that day or hour no man knoweth: Not Daniel, nor Isaias, nor I; but the Mother only. For Hers is an everlasting Kingdom. |
Section III--The Gate Keeper |
15 And turning to me, as if I were the incarnation of Daniel, he saith to me in a new parable: Take ye heed, continue to watch and pray to Her. For ye know not when the 'last sign' will come and the circle be made complete. Even as the lord of the orchard,* who going away into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his beautiful wife Sus'anna over every good work,* and commanded his son* to watch over Her like a good porter:* 'For happy is the man of white linen who listens to Her, watching daily at Her beautiful gate'.* 16 Watch ye therefore, for you know not when the Lord of the house returneth: at night, or in the morning, or in the even; lest coming on a sudden, She find you sleeping when you should not. And what John said to you, I say to you, and to future generations as well: Watch for Her! 17 'But go your away now for it is past the sixth hour, and take your time of rest, and your time of sleep, so that you may stand by your allotted gate at the end of the night'.* |
