PHASE THIRTY FIVE |
THE LIVING MESSAGE |
Section I -- The Semi-Empty Tomb |
02 And very early in the morning, Sunday, the eighteenth day of April, they come to the tomb, the sun being now risen; for women dare not travel alone at night. 03 And remembering that it took three men to move the great stone from the door of the tomb, they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the tomb? so that we can minister unto our Lord's needs, for Josi the redeemer is not here to help Mark the preserver, and Simon the reviver is sealed within. 04 And looking down the embankment, they saw that the stone was already rolled back. And they were surprised, because they knew that it took the strength of three healthy men to roll back the stone from the door of the tomb. 05 And entering into the darkened tomb, instead of seeing Simon the serene reviving our wounded lord, they saw me, sitting on the right hand side of John, clothed in what at first appeared to be my own white robe: But they were astonished to find me draped in the burial cloth. For they did not expect to see a semi-empty tomb. |
Section II--The Living Message |
06 Who said to them: Be not afraid at my presence. You seek our lord king Solomon who was crucified: He is no longer here, for he has arisen: Behold the place where Simon revived him! 07 But hurry, go back to Jerusalem and get me fresh white linen to put on, for I have given my garments to David our lord, so that he might cover his naked body. And when you are there: Tell my father Joseph and Naomi of Bethel, that he goeth before you into Beth`an: There you shall all greet him. 08 And they going out, ran from the tomb, for a joyful trembling had seized hold of them: But they said not any thing to any man along the way; for they were still afraid for his safety. |
Section III---The Resurrection |
09 But relinquishing his throne, Herod hearing the Good News, for his name was made manifest, declared: John the Baptist is risen again from the dead, and therefore mighty works shew forth themselves, in him whom Christ has proclaimed: king of all Israel. 10 For is it not written in Isaias, chapter fifty three, verse ten; "He shall see his offering, and prolong John's day." |
