  1. What is Cosmeta?
    Cosmeta is a privately owned website. Our main feature is our New Age Giftshop but we also provide thought provoking ideas and discussion in our New Age Secition, New Age Forums and more recently our Blog. At Cosmeta we provide our customers with unique gifts and products for living a New Age Lifestyle because we believe in living the dream by surrounding ourselves with aesthetically pleasing products to enrich this life, to enhance any belief in a past life and enhance your future prospects.

  2. How can I find products?
    The easiest way to find products is to browse our many categories and sub-categories by clicking on each item and then by scolling through our pages. You can also browse through our What's New pages or try using our Shop by Price feature. But perhaps the fastest way is to use our Ajax Quick Search engine located on the left hand side of your screen. Just place some key strokes into our Quick Search Box and our search engine will begin to pull up a list of corresponding search terms for you. Then click on the small “GO” icon or hit the ENTER key on your keyboard and be presented with a list of available items. Or try clicking on the “Advanced Search” link and search by category, price or date.

  3. Can I get a catalog?
    Our online giftshop is our catalog. As such, we do not publish a written catalog. We are always updating our database with new products and removing old ones and try to be as accurate and up-to-date as possible.

  4. How do I create an account?
    To create an Account, just click on the “Create an Account” link located at the center top of our main giftshop page; or use our handy “Customer Login” box located on the righthand side of your screen. Please provide a valid email address and remember to keep a record of your password for future use.

  5. Do you have a minimum order?
    Cosmeta® does not have a minimum order requirement. You may purchase as much or as little as you want. However, placing an order for $25 or more will help offset your shipping costs.

  6. What are my checkout options?
    We offer three ways to checkout. 1). You can create a new customer account; 2). you can be a returning customer; or 3). you can go directly to the checkout without creating a customer account. As a Customer Service, members and returning customers will not lose their data if they close down their browser and may return back to complete their order or make changes to it at a later time. Also, new customers have the option of creating a 'Member Account' whether they make purchases or not.

  7. Can visitors use your shopping cart?
    Visitors may browse freely and enjoy using our shopping cart without creating an account and without making any real-time purchases. Visitors who do not make any real-time purchases and/or who cancel out before the checkout point will lose their data when they close down their browsers. Should you change your mind and make a purchase on the fly, you will then be given the option of creating a member account or you can proceed to checkout and make a purchase without creating one.

  8. What can I expect at checkout?
    Our secure ‘Checkout’ procedure is quick and easy and consist of the following steps:

    • Payment Information (Bill to Address)
    • Delivery Information (Ship To Address)
    • Confirmation (Verifies your order)
    • Finish (Finishes your order)
    • Order Confirmation (Completes your order)
    • PayPal (Transfers you to PayPal.com)

    Payment information consist of your billing name, billing address, your telephone number and a valid email address. Delivery information is the shipping name and address. The confirmation page will ask you to verify your order, so please double check your information for any typographical or spelling errors. The finish button will finish your order and the 'Order Confirmation' will complete your order and place it in our database.

    Note: Please notice that your credit card information is not collected on our site but through PayPal’s secure web server.

  9. What is an Order Confirmation?
    To complete your order please make sure you click on the 'Confirm Order' button located on our confirm order page. After confirming your order with us, you will automatically be directed to PayPal's secure web site where your order will be processed further and your credit card information collected. You do not need to be a member of PayPal to place an order. Just use a credit card of your choice.

    Note: Failure to complete this step will not only prevent you from being directed to PayPal's web site it will in effect stop your order from being processed; but it will not delete it from our database. If you are a Member the information will still be stored in our database for you to complete and/or edit.

  10. Can I cancel my order?
    Yes. If you change your mind and do not wish to be taken to PayPal's web site to process your Credit Card information, the time to cancel an order is before you hit the finish button and before you complete the 'Order Confirmation'. (Please see the above).

  11. What are my payment options?
    We are currently using PayPal as our Payment Gateway. PayPal is a secure 128 bit encryption payment gateway and trusted by over 100 million customers around the globe. Best of all, you no longer need a PayPal account in order to use a major credit card of your choice. PayPal will accept most major credit cards like Master Card, Visa, Discover Card and American Express.

  12. What is your 'Order Acceptance' Policy?
    Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. More times than not, a decline by us will be because our suppliers have discontinued a product or are out of stock. In such an event you will be given the opportunity to replace that order with another, or, your money will be returned to you.

    Disclaimer: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we too shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled by us, we shall immediately refund your account in the amount of the charge.

  13. What is your product availability policy?
    We make every effort to keep our online catalog up-to-date. Discontinued products will either be removed from our database or clearly marked; while out of stock items will be placed in our upcoming products list. Yet in certain rare instances an item may have become unavailable since we last updated our online database. If this situation occur while your order is being processed we will contact you regarding your order status. (Please see our Order Acceptance Policy above).

  15. What is PayPal's return to merchant policy?
    When ordering through PayPal, make sure you follow their directions. Near the completion of your order, you should click the Return to Merchant link to be brought back to our web site where you will see a Thank You message from us thanking you for your order. Doing this will complete the PayPal Credit Card process, so please be patient while you wait to be redirected back to us. Do not close your browser and do not use your back button. Please check your e-mail box to make sure you receive a confirmation email from PayPal containing your Receipt Number. If you do not receive an email confirmation from PayPal within a few minutes, please contact us with your details and we will make every effort to resolve the issue.

  16. How are orders shipped?
    Orders are normally shipped by UPS Ground or DHL; and in certain rare cases, by the United Postal Service; (no PO Boxes, Hotels/Motels). Shipping costs are calculated in real-time as you add items to our shopping cart; so that the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Orders are shipped usually within 24-72 hours after payment is received. Please allow an additional 8 to 14 business days for U.S. delivery.

  17. How can I get a tracking number?
    We normally do not provide this information; but will upon written request. When writing to us please provide us with the same information when you placed your order. Please make sure that you include your billing name, address, ship to name and address, date of purchase and invoice number. You should also use the same email address when corresponding.

    No. We are currently shipping to Continental USA only. Which means of course that we cannot accept orders outside of the United States.
