You pay nothing further—beyond any specialty ingredients required—until the theoretical formula is approved and we move into active development.
Once development begins, we perfect your product at $250/hour. Most formulas finalize within 1–3 refinement rounds, depending on complexity, performance targets, and sensory expectations.

Formula Ownership & Intellectual Property Transfer
Cosmeta creates proprietary formulations. Until you purchase the intellectual property (IP), the formula remains the property of Cosmeta and cannot be transferred, scaled, copied, or produced elsewhere.
When you're ready to manufacture or raise capital, you can acquire full ownership of your formula for the exact number of development hours invested.
Example: 22 hours × $250 = $5,500 for full IP transfer.

04 — Theoretical Formula for Approval
We present a complete formulation map (ingredients + percentages + logic) so you understand exactly what we will create—before you spend on development.
Hourly billing begins only after this approval.
05 — Prototype Creation
We produce your first physical prototype, reflecting your approved ingredient system, sensory goals, and performance targets.
06 — Refinement Rounds
We iterate based on your feedback—optimizing texture, stability, pH, scent, glide, viscosity, and performance until your product meets the standard.
07 — Scale-Up Preparation
Once finalized, you receive everything required for real-world production at any manufacturer, including batch procedure and supplier lists.
08 — Launch & Post-Launch Support (Optional)
After IP transfer, we remain available for extensions, reformulations, retailer requirements, regulatory needs, and troubleshooting during scale-up.
